Do we have the right to have an downloadable version of the extension that our partner maid for us?

Is the extension for Business Central made by a partner only visible for the partner or do we have also the right to see the downloadable version (only reed not write)? We don't want to change anything we just want to see what is different from the original BC.

I would say it depends on the agreement with Your partner. Some insist that the intellectual property of developed code stays with the partner, but lately customers insist that the IP is theirs for the custom developments specifically for them.

If IP is Yours, then You have the right to ask for the source code from Your partner.
