Outlook client exception every time my solution is re published

Posted on by 910

I'm running crm server 2011, ru13 and outlook 201 with the ru15 client. whenever I update my customisations the outlook client dies and then refuses to let outlook restart unless I delete the crm data file. I've switched logging on but have yet to find anything consistent in the produced log files. For the majority of the times the last few lines include:

So far I have uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch. Has anyone else suffered from a similar problem??

Thanks,

Phil

I've not managed to reproduce it on a user with OL2007. They got an Webforms exception but were able to continue and it now appears to running ok.

I've updated the server to RU15 in a hope that might help. My OL2010 went bang as usual - same messages as above.

Churchill - Do these messages mean anything to you?

    Thanks Churchill.

    1. I'll try another users pc.

    2. I'm sys admin

    3. More than you can shake a stick at. However they appear throughout the working day, when i have no problems. The error above is the one that i get just prior to the problem.

    Hello,

Is the issue reproducible for one user or many and on different machines ?

what is the security role assigned to user ?

Do we see any errors or warnings in the application logs of event viewer ?

    Thanks
