Hi,

I have a lookup on a form from another list(entity). Now this lookup holds all records from the other entity which users can select on current form. How can I fetch all these records in the lookup using JavaScript on current form?

IF you want to fetch the loookup record data Use WebApi get the records from the entity.

Use CRMRESTBUILDER tool to generate the code.

Hi Saad, will it work for custom entities? Will I be able to generate api's for accessing records stored in custom entities?

You need to publish custom entity and it's field first and then open this tool and generate the code

    Hi Saad,

How to use this tool? I just ran the sln file present in the package. But I still don't get how should I authenticate against my login credentials. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just download the managed zip file and import it to crm. After import refresh and go to the Settings>> Customziations. You will see a icon CRM REST BUILDER. CLick on it. It will open a the rest builder. Then refer this on how to select the fields and entity.

Whenever I try importing the zipped file to the solutions, I get this error "An error occured".
