Settings Data export Discovery Failed

I have Data export Services installed on my tial version of Dynamics 365 online. Previously I had been attempting to create an export profile following the steps here - https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt744592.aspx#shouldknowDES.  Today when I select settings then data export service it is directed to a url

1715.crm.PNG but the create profile screen does not appear instead I get a message "Discovery Failed. See Console Logs for Details".  I have installed the serivce again but continue to get this message.

Not sure where to look to resolve the error.

    looks like this may be an internet explorer or newtork access issue as when i connect via my home network it works fine. i have the urls added so that they allow popups etc but I will run it from my personal network.
