Hello,

i had Problems with a ModelDriven App, when trying to apply new filters on a List, i got error messages (i think the problem was that deleted Columns where referenced somewhere).
as i didn't realy know what to do, i deleted Views of the Table (unfortunately also the Quick find View)..
Hochgeladenes Bild

long story short, i can now filter the Table again as i want, without any errors, but as i deleted the Quick find View, i can no longer use the search bar on the top right corner of my App..

is there any way to restore the System default views (why was i even able to delete this view? :(  )

thanks for your Help!

Do you have any other environments where the table exists? If yes, then add only the table with the view to the solution, export the solution as unmanaged, and import it here. This is the simplest and easiest way.

    Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your issue! You're absolutely right—deleting the Quick Find View from a table in a Model-Driven App will disable the search bar functionality, as that view defines which columns are searchable.

Here’s how you can fix it:

    1. Restore the Quick Find View

      • Go to Power Apps > Tables > [Your Table] > Views.
      • Click “+ New View” and name it Quick Find View.
      • Add the columns you want to be searchable (e.g., Name, Email, etc.).
      • Save and set it as the Quick Find View under Table settings > Indexing > Quick Find View.
    2. Rebuild Indexes

      • After restoring the view, go to Advanced Settings > System Settings > Data Management and rebuild the indexes to ensure search works properly.
    3. Why Was It Deletable?

      • Unfortunately, system views like Quick Find are not protected from deletion in some scenarios. It’s a good idea to export your solution before making structural changes.

Let me know if this helps, and please mark the response as helpful if it answered your question 😊

    Best regards!
