Object name and Object Id in business central page/query/codeunit

Hi All,

Have a doubt regarding object Id and Object name in business central. How the object Id and the object name is associated in the business central while creating a new page/query/codeunit. Any mapping is there?

Hello,

All objects have an ID and a Name which is manually specified by the person who created the object. Not sure if this is what you are asking, do you have an example of what you need to know?

Hi, this is inherited from NAV. All Objects in BC must have names and IDs, and IDs of the same type cannot be repeated.

For example: NAV2018
