Hi,
I have requirement to create mail merge document(for multiple record) from the word template.
We can do it for the CRM inbuilt entity but i need to do same for custom entity.

Do you mean you need to generate a bulk mail merge using the new Word Templates?
I believe this is possible normally for Custom Entities. Are you having an issue with the normal Workflow? It should be possible via plugin, but I haven't looked into it specifically.
The new Word Templates is currently designed for single records at a time. However you can use the new Workflow Step included to run it on mutliple records at once. This is more like a semi-automatic approach, and is not really configurable out of the box at run-time. It will also only save the generated document as an attachment on the Annotation/Notes. Not great if users want to print in bulk.
Then there is the old Mail Merge Templates which you can use Microsoft Word for to do proper Mail Merge. This works for Bulk Records and printing, but is quite cumbersome and clunky for end-users to get their heads around. eg. You need to initiate the Mail Merge via the Outlook Client if you wish to automatically generate any Letter Activities back in CRM (very handy).
Thirdly, there are other add-ons that I've seen that try to take some of the hard work out of the old Mail Merge process.

I need to create document for selected records(All records should be in single document with single record in single page- like mail merge).
