I have to import data in MSCRM of more than 2.5 gb in MSCRM dynamics. Is there any way to Import the records without splitting the file in to 8 or 32 mb? Can some one suggest third party tool for it?

Thanks in advance,

Haseeb Jamshed

Try with Scribe or Kingswaysoft SSIS Toolkit

    Hi Haseeb,

CRM 2011 we have change the import file size to 80 MB and tested for 78 MB which is working fine.

Update ServerSettingsProperties set IntColumn = 80 where columnname=’ImportMaxAllowedFileSizeInMB’

    Thanks

    Hi Haseeb,

We have a CRM migration tool that allows you to import data into CRM, both on-premise and online using the bulk import functionality which CRM provides.

This supports multiple table mappings per migration project, defining multiple data sources, and when you are done running your import in development, you can clone the connections into a new environment , for example SIT, UAT or PROD and re-run your import against there when ready. No coding required, so essentially anyone with BA / DB schema knowledge can use this tool to perform migration imports.

    Hi,

I believe that you've already imported data successfully, just wanna drop my suggestion here in case of someone else struggles the same issue.

You can import data from CSV or Excel automatically using Trujay.

However, there is a set of requirements for CSV files:

    • The file contains the Column “id” or “Id” that contains the unique value
    • Separator character is a comma ( , )
    • The file can be downloaded from Dropbox, Google Drive, One drive or Computer Hard drive
    • The file type (extension) is .CSV. Please Note! If you use Windows OS make sure that the file name has an extension .CSV right within the title FILENAME.CSV
    • The file size is less than 1 Gb

As for migration from Excel, you can find requirements for successful data import here.

And one more thing. You can migrate from Excel directly in case every data module is in a separate file yet not on sheets in a single doc.

You may run CSV to MSCRM or Excel to MSCRM Sample import for free or schedule a call with Trujay specialists for more info.

    Sincerely.
