Move CRM Customization and Data from One Tenant To Another

Hello Everyone,

We have an urgent requirement to transfer D365 instance along with customization and data from current domain to another O365 instance/setup.

Currently, the client has the D365 instance running on one tenant say "abc.onmicrosoft.com". And the O365 instance running on another instance i.e. "pqr.onmicrosoft.com".

Now, we would like to merge these two instances and keep only one.
We're planning to take backup of the D365 instance, take new CRM instance at the "pqr.onmicrosoft.com" instance, and take restore the backup there.
Is it possible?

Or any other ideas to achieve these things?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Jeet ,

As your domain is different so you have to move your customization first using solution import and then plan for data migration to move the data using KingsWaySoft tool.

Hi There,

There is not option available for us to do this task in admin portal. You might have to do traditional migration as taking full customization from one instance and move to other including the data.

apart from it you will have to get in touch with MS , they would help you with that.

Hi.

There are certain partners who do tenant migration. Microsoft appoints certain partners to do this for free of cost.

You'll need to open a ticket with Microsoft and they'll provide a list of partners who do tenant migration.
