Set a value on lkp field using API

Hello 

i am trying to set a value on parentcustomerid_value lkp field on Contacts, already i trying using parentcustomerid_value@odata.bind but it doesnt works

the error message i got is below

message": "An error occurred while validating input parameters: Microsoft.OData.ODataException: A property 'xxxxxx' which only has property annotations in the payload but no property value is declared to be of type 'Edm.Guid'.

My question is what is the correct way to set a value on a lkp field, thanks a lot

    Hi,

    try this:

    entity["parentcustomerid@odata.bind"] = "/accounts(fffffffffffff)"; // or "/contacts(GUID)"

    Don't put the "_value" suffix. I used CRM Rest Builder.
