Is it possible to impersonate a user in BC to test permission sets?

    Unfortunately, this cannot be done. You can submit this idea to Microsoft. I think this is a good suggestion.

    Unfortunately, no, it's not possible. A common approach is assigning the permissions to yourself for testing, and once you're done, another user would need to reassign your original permissions.

    I believe there is no built in feature for impersonation of a user.

    If this is something you need and you are unable to log in as that user, I would suggest:
    • Adding a test user in another environment and match their permission sets to the ones that the user you are impersonating has.
    • Adding permission sets to the Security Group and add that user to the security group with another user you have access to. [Since permission sets in security groups apply to all users in the group, all users in that group will have the same permissions.]
    • Last one from me would not allow you to test, it is looking at the permission sets on the user card and see if you have all permission sets you need to assign to the user.
