Not getting logged in user,instead getting System User

Hi,

I am calling a plugin on change of stage of BPF . I am trying to get username of logged in user using following guid context.userid or context.initiatinguserid but it is returning System all the time but the logged in user is different. I have not used impersonation.Run in User context is set to calling user in plugin step. Any Idea why i am getting System user instead of actual logged in user?

plugin is registered on pre-operation on update message ,filtering attribute is stepname ,entity is opportunity , execution order is 1 ,Run in user context as calling user ,

Probably this field is getting updated by STSTEM not within the DB transaction when user updates something. Can you verify the audit entries for the same.
