When the workflow is approved, all fields lock

Hello,
 
After 1 to 2 weeks following the approval of the workflow, we have a process where the confirmation date needs to be entered in the purchase order lines. However, when the workflow is approved, all fields are lock. I can reactivate it using the 'Request Change' button, but it restarts my workflow process from the beginning and it wants 
Can I make the Confirmation Date field editable when the workflow is approved?

    Can you share a screenshot of what you did set up on the purchasing policies? Have you checked what is the outcome for "requires purchase order re-approval"?

    Hello,
     
    I made the settings you specified in the purchasing policies. In my workflow, as shown in the screenshot, however, after i am using requesting change button, when i fill in the "Confirmation Date" field and send it back to the workflow, it is not automatically approved; the workflow goes back for approval again. Where am i going wrong?
     

    My workflow is as follows: one party approves for amounts below 6000 USD, while the other party approves for amounts above 6000 USD.

    Next to a conditional auto-approval, you can also try to set up Reapproval rules in the Purchasing policies to avoid manual reapproval for specific fields excluded from this list..

    Hi,
     
    Standard workflow works like that way only, however as a workaround, you can use re-approval purchase policy where you can add a rules, still you need to resubmit to workflow but that will be auto approved.
