    Hi Maher,

There are two Work Type for Quality Item Sampling and Quality Order that you should look into using.

The Quality Item Sampling is used in combination with Quality Associations that are configured for warehouse management (see below).  The Quality Item Sampling would create work to locate the item in an inspection location (the same work types are available for Location DIrectives) until the Quality Order is executed.  On Quality Order pass (or Fail) the work templates for Quality Orders (and respective Location Directives) would kick in to tdo the final Put Away for the pass or faied items.

    Would that work for you?

    Hi Danny,

    Thanks for your feedback

can we add a condition on the request at the level of the work order (Storage of finished products). For example status of the quality order = Success ?

    Hi Maher,

If you use a Work Template with work type Quality Order, that is exactly what you do.  You use the quality order status = "Pass" or "Fail" to determine where to direct the item after quality order is complete (when Quality Order work is generated).

    Regards,

    Danny

    Hi Danny,

I can't do that directly on the type of finished product storage work (As a condition for example)?

    Thanks

    Hi Maher,

If your quality order is generated at the time of RAF, then RAF put-away work is generated yoru quality order will have an Open status.  By the time the quality order is passed or failed, the work will already have been created.

An alternative is for selected items to put away in a QMS location after RAF.   And from that location, after Quality order has passed (or failed), have someone use the Mobile Device to to scan the LP to create "put away" work using a Move by Template menu.  I have done so in the past where I had a mobile menu just for the quality clerk where they could create <pass> or <fail> work based on the Quality Order results (with labels).

    Regards,

    Danny

    Hi Danny,

Are you talking about quality order type work?

another question please, if we activate this feature, and we do nothing, are there any consequences on the operation of the system?

because we have 3 legal entities and we want to apply it to a single entity

for this it must be guaranteed that there is no danger after activation

    Thanks,

    Hello Maher,

Activating the feature will make the features functions and configuration available for use in all Legal Entities, however you need to activate teh configuration in order for the processes to kick-in.  Activating will just add new options for Work Templates, Location directives and new options in Quality Association form.

I see that there are a few alternatives:

    1) With Sampling Work, if Quality Association creates a Quality Order, you can direct FG to an inspection location until testing is complete.  Passing or Failing a Quality Order would create work to either put away or move the item to a quarantine location.

    2) You can use the process described in this video, transposing the process described for purchase receiving quality order into a Production Order receiving: m.youtube.com/watch. This does not require the Feature to be activated.  When RAF work is created, a regular production put away location directive will look at the status of the Quality Order a quality order: if it is open, it will direct to an inspection location, if it is not open (no quality order) it will put away using whatever logic is in place.  When the QUality Order is complete, then you could use a Mobile Menu with a Move by Template work template to put-away the item using the logic in place.

In both, the item will be blocked by the quality order so will not be available (you can check Inventory Blocking to validate).

    Regards,

    Danny

    Hello Danny,

when I would create a quality association using the warehouse process, a blocking error message appears "

Full blocking is not supported for quality order for warehouse processes"

    Thanks for your help
