Hello,

I am trying to import a sales order in Olympic Project cost. I Import the excel file in PC Transaction Import without any issues. After I go to Create SOP Transactions to process my import but I run into an issue. I got the error message

Transaction    Error

49,758            Missing SOP_ID_SETP record for: PG
49,758            The Currency/Price Level/U of M combination is not included in the price list for this item.

I am not sure what this mean. I tried to do a search and what other have suggested but nothing seems to work. I was told to try a noninventory item but I am not sure how to set that up.
Thank you

To handle this, you will have to consider one of the following options:

    1. Define a price list for this item, which in turn include a price level, currency and unit of measurement. Once a price list is defined, the item will automatically pick the associated price as derived from the quantity range. To define a price list, Go to (Cards > Inventory > Price List)
    2. Another option is to pass the price, and tell the system that there is no need to pick a price from the price list, the option is (prices not required in price list)
Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Sales > Sales Order Processing (uncheck the highlighted option)

    Hello,

Option one would not work because the price changes every time. I already have the "Price not required in Price List" checked but still get the error.

    Thank You

Allow me to understand the problem more clearly then,

If you go to Dynamics GP and manually enter the same transaction, would you have such errors ? Or you can proceed and enter all the details and save the document without any issues ?

Now, what is the integration method that you consider which retrieve this error ? eConnect ? If so, please share the XML parameters for further assistance,

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,

And your SOP ID 'PG' for which you are getting error is setup in GP or not?

Sorry for being unclear. I do not get any error when manually entering it in GP. I am able to enter the full order without any issues.

    These are the XML parameters.

I am not sure what that mean. I added the XML parameters above and I do not have any field that has "PG" in it.

Your source file must have a SOP ID value of 'PG' in it.  This message is telling you that SOP ID does not exist in GP.  Look in Sales>>Setup>>Sales Order Processing>>Sales Document Setup and review the Sales Order Document ID's that are set up.  Either you need to use an existing SOP ID or change the SOP ID value in your source file.

Thank you very much Frank! The missing SOP_ID_SETP error was fixed but I am still getting the 2nd error (The Currency/Price Level/U of M combination is not included in the price list for this item.)

I would call Olympic.  Not sure why you're getting the second error when you don't require prices in the price list.  It may be something specific to their code.
