Set default retail channel in financial dimension when convert from quotation to sales order.

When convert the quotation into sales order, the sales order financial dimension is empty although the quotation have retail channel information.

i got set the default dimension in call center setup. It only works when create a new sales order.

Is there any setup can be done to get the default financial dimension when convert quotation to invoice?

    Hi pan,

    I cannot see a sales order financial dimension in your screenshot.

    The sreenshot is very small and a bit blurred; maybe you can create and upload a new one?!

    Hi Pan,

    Lets say Call center is enabled with default Retail Channel fin dimension. In standard when we create Sales quotation - such default Retail channel fin dimension will not be filled in automatically to Sales order header or line. This is not retail feature, it is a core SCM feature which does not use retail logic.

    If we add Retail channel fin dimension on sales quotation header and lines manually and then we:

    - Send quotation

    - Confirm

    At this time sales quotation gets converted to sales order and checking Retail channel fin dimensions on sales order header and lines, Retail channel fin dimension is filled in from the quotation.

    I am not sure what steps you exactly do, but in standard (I tested on 10.0.16) it works as expected as stated above.

    Hi Ramune,

    i tested in standard environment, when converted from quotation to sales order, the default retail channel in sales order header got retail channel, but empty in sales order line.

    The financial dimension for sales order line is same as quotation's line financial dimension without department and retail channel.

    Can i get the default dimension value as sales order header without fill in sales quotation line first?

    Hi Pan,

    there is no other option. If you put fin dimensions manually in Quotation Header or Lines, only then Sales order Header and Lines get the same fin dimensions filled in.
