Lookup error when saving lead (CRM 2011 online)

A couple of my users are receiving an error message occasionally when trying the save a lead. "The Lookup MRU Item that you have selected hasn't been resolved yet". Is anyone able to tell me why this is happening and how I can check which lookup is causing a problem (there are a couple on the lead form)?

    it comes to new leads or existing lead?

    The selected records from lookup exist or are been deleted?

    This is when creating a new lead and then trying to save. They receive the error message, but it looks like the lead is being saved correctly anyway.

    Hi Ctaylor,

    Generally, this is observed behaviour if a lot of actions are performed on the records while it is still loading.

    Could you please try the below steps and see if t helps:

    1)Open the new lead creating page.

    2)Fill in the necessary fields.

    3)When using the look up to reference other records, please wait once the lookup item was selected until the loading symbol next to the lookup field is not shown any more before you continue with the next action.

    4)Save the record.

    Please let me know the result.
