I need to create an email template but instead of just attaching a word document to the template, how can I create the document into an image to be viewed in the email?

You would need to turn Word doc into an image first - easy way might just be to open it and take a screenshot and trim it down to the required content.
Then the image would need to be hosted someplace outside of CRM - like on a public facing website or image hosting service etc...
I find the easiest way to include an image in an email template is to mock up a very basic HTML page that includes the image (using the external link), then open the page in Internet Explorer, click someplace in the page and hit Ctrl-A (select all), then Ctrl-C (copy) and then click into your email template and hit Ctrl-V (paste) and it should bring the content in.
Hello Kabreret ,
Thank you for the Post . Although you cannot insert images or HTML directly into Microsoft Dynamics CRM email messages or email templates, you can use the copy feature in Internet Explorer to copy an image from a website and paste it into the email message or email template. The image is available as long as the website is accessible.
