How do you work with multiple windows in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Hello there!

I have an question about program capabilities in general. How do you work with multiple windows in Business Central?

For exaple: I created an invoice of sales and want to immediately see which accounts the entries are scattered across (I go to the trial balance) and at the same time see how the cost of goods has changed (on the Items page).

Question: how do You switch between pages correctly so as not to close the last page? i understand that if I open one document, then immediately open another one. When I close the last document I opened, the previous one remains open, but I want the last one to remain open as well.

Usually i open in multiple Tabs , Duplicate Tabs and open page which you are looking for .

Keep one main Transaction Tab, other REporting Tab ,and third which will be flucutating

Example :: Sales Invoice Tab , Trial Balance Tab will be open

When you open third tab you navigate several pages to& Fro ( example - item customer vendor etc)

For Third tab you can use back arrow to close pages for navigation

Best practice for analysts/consultants: Keep one main “transaction” tab and one “reporting/review” tab.
