"Failed to update or create record due to an error in a customer installed plug-in"

Hi all,

 

I am trying import some data to a table using a data flow. I managed to import some of the data but have had 1/3 come back with errors. 

The error is:

{/message/:/Failed to update or create record due to an error in a customer installed plug-in. Please review the error details from the plug-in, fix the problem, and try again./,/cdsErrorCode/:/0x80040265/,/OperationStatus/:0,/SubErrorCode/:-2146233088,/InnerErrorMessage/:/Cannot find record to be updated/,/cdsRequestId/:/25b509e0-d28b-4e09-b836-cb8482f53951/,/cdsRequestUtcTime/:/8/1/2023 3:16:23 PM/}

 

I'm not sure why these are failing and the others have worked fine. 

Can anyone help with this please?

    Based on the error message provided, the analysis is as follows:
     
    /InnerErrorMessage/:/Cannot find record to be updated/
    This error indicates that the plugin is not working because it cannot find the updatable records.
    This could be related to lookup code in the plugin, such as a common piece of update field code,
    it will often look up if a similar field already exists and skip it before the update action occurs.
     
    /cdsErrorCode/:/0x80040265/
    In addition to problems with the plugin itself, the link below explains another possibility:
    Conflicts with existing custom processes are also one of the common plugin errors.
