Recently modified Report shows up twice in NAV and web client

ReportReport

I recently modified a report in the NAV Dev Environment to add 2 columns as desired. After I completed the development the Nav client and Web client show 2 options of the same name when searched. On the Nav client both options run the same report while on the web client only one of them work while the other redirects to an error page. I need to remove the second option so that only the correct report shows up on both clients.

    Hi abhicalsoft,

Could you check if there are any menusuite change? One option would be to compare in text all menusuites with previous export in text of your menusuites.

    Cheers,

    Robert

The menu suite shows the report only under the Financial Management tab and not the Purchasing tab. Even though the search bar in NAV does point towards it existing under Purchasing/Inventory&Costing.

In short, no, the menusuite does not have changes.

Try to delete the report from menusuite, recompile, see if it returns anything then.

If you still have one result then check what settings you need on the report like application area or something else. Compare with a standard report.

Otherwise recreate manually the report on different is with diff name. Then copy contents from old report, see how that one appears. If it works delete the old report, perhaps it's a metadata issue.

    Cheers,

    Robert

Today for some reason the issue solved itself. I didn't change anything so I am guessing you are right about the metadata issue.
