Area Changing When Page Refreshed

Hi. We just flipped to the Unified Interface. We have a situation where the Area is being changed when the page is refreshed. For example, a user's default landing page is Service pane and Dashboards tab. When Dynamics is initially loaded, that is where it lands. However, if the page is refreshed, it changes the area to one of our custom areas. Any idea how to get it so that it stays as the Service area?

Thanks for sharing update and workaround, Amy. I just tried at my end as well but it works fine for me i.e. if I'm on account creation page and do refresh, it shows me the same page (URL do not get changed) - tried in customer service hub. Just wondering, if there are any onLoad script which may cause this issue or if it's limited to one UCI app.

Although, you have a workaround in place but if you would like to troubleshoot this issue further, you can open a support ticket to investigate it further.

Thanks for the response! I have my Default Pane set to Service and Defaulting to the Dashboards. When the page would refresh it would change to other Areas such as Sales or Training (a custom area). We ended up just creating a node in the site map under Service for our Dashboard and that seemed to work as a workaround:

Hello Amy,

You can check personal option settings and see what options are selected. If it's set to Default then you can use area which you would like to see as default -
