EDI Orders and GP (Integration)

Hi, I am not sure if this is possible or not. I just wanted to volley this question out there. Using an In House Application I have managed to get all my EDI orders and insert them into a table in the database. Is it possible that I can insert the EDI Header and EDI Details into the SOP Tables (SOP30200 and SOP30300) without causing any problems or constraints with other tables in the GP database? The goal is to create these orders in GP without manual entry.. Or Is this something that I have to buy some Integration software in order to insert my Edi orders.

The recommendation would be that you use eConnect and bring in the transactions.  There are plenty of articles on how to do this and you can also go out to Mario's site and see how.  But here is an article on how he was getting around the issue of Posting Date on the SOP Trx.
