Dynamics 365 and Smarsh Integration

Our firm uses Smarsh (a.k.a. Smarshmail) for Exchange Online and email archiving. Smarsh uses Intermedia.net for Exchange Online
We are struggling to integrate our Exchange email with Dynamics so we can send emails from Dynamics for marketing campaigns.
Has anyone successfully integrated Dynamics 365 with Smarsh/Intermedia and if so, what is the solution?
I'd be grateful for any guidance.
