Setup for Redundant Locations

Hi,

Trust you are well.

We are trying to address a multi-vendor (subcontractor) situation for the same manufacturing process.

A given item could be either manufactured/assembled at  either of the 2 vendor locations.

However, NAV doesnt allow more than 1 SKU for linking the item to the shipping warehouse. i.e. we can link only 1 of the 2 locations to demand.

Now the problem is that while generating the plan, the inventory lying in the second location is ignored, thus the plan would provide for more inventory than needed.

Is there any workaround for this issue?

Best regards.
