SSRS report - FetchXML - Dynamics 365 - attribute value

In my fetchxml, I am joining a custom entity with accounts to pull some additional information. The values for standard attributes display fine, while values for custom attributes display "Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.EntityReference". I checked with XRM toolbox fetchXML tester and it displays the value correctly. I am using VS 2015 with target server version as "SQL Server 2016 or later" and using report preview feature.

That's what I thought. This 9.0 extension is buggy but I never had time to complain. Here is what I do that can work for you as well:

    1. Uninstall 9.0 extension.

    2. Install 8.2 - www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    3. To resolve issue with TLS 1.2 enabled you can use approach I described in my post - butenko.pro/.../microsoft-dynamics-365-v9-0-how-to-fix-connectivity-issues-between-ssdt-report-authoring-extension-and-dynamics-365

    Good luck.

That's awesome! What version of FetchXml authoring extension do you use?

I just noticed that it is happening for some standard attributes as well (as shown in the image)

    Hello,

You can build your query using Advanced Find and then get the fetchxml from it and apply it to your report.
