The new business central release wave 2 introduced the feature of having multiple geo locations. We have used that feature for one of our clients located in the US
The production environment we have created for them in the US has the following application version :
We have created a new production environment for them since they have another entity located in the middle east .. we have used the location "AE" for this specific region in the middle east. When we have logged to this environment, it sows the following version:
My question is, which version is this ? It is supposed to be W1 version but it is not showing … how can we check ?
In addition, our client has anther company in Germany and we need to create another production environment for them in Germany , which version of Business Central it will be once we choose the location as "Germany" ?
According to Microsoft, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/administration/tenant-admin-center-environments
"In the Country list, select the country for the environment. The selected country determines the localization for the environment, as well as the Azure region in which the environment is created and stored."
Would you please elaborate ?
Thanks,
