I need to create an Entity list. The list will include a Note field. How do I do that.
Can I include the Note Field in the View of the Entity?

I took a second look at the link again and it helped me display the notes entity in the grid by using entity permission. But it is not complete. I was able to display the record but how can I display the attachment and make it downloadable in the grid?
I am looking at the view and the fields available and I can't find any fields that are useful.
I hope you can help me.
Agreed with Ravi. I think there is typo in Ravi's comment.
You <can't> include notes as a column as it is just like other entities and can have multiple records..
So write a plugin/workflow to copy note text to custom field and use that field in your grid.
Hope you understood..
If found useful. Mark the answer Yes.
Hi Cams,
You can't include notes as a column as it is just like other entities and can have multiple records. You can build some custom process (workflow/ plugin etc) to move the notes text from note entity to a field on your entity whenever a new note is created and then you can show that field in your entity list.
Hope this helps.
Thanks but It doesn't say anything on how to include and display it in an entity list.
I want the Notes to be included in the grid as one of the columns.
Hi Cams,
I did create an Entity List of Note Entity
It's being displayed on Portal:
If you want to use Note's Field on another Entity, It is not possible. Because in CRM, Note Entity is not customizable.
