Lync presence not shown

Hi,

we have the problem that some users are not able to see the lync presence status in CRM2015.

For me it works, but for some others it doesn't.

Its enabled globally and i wonder what could cause it not to be shown on the web application?

Is there anything i have to check on the IE browser?

I didn't add the CRM site as trusted site but its working for me, i remember for CRM online users have to add *.dynamics.com to trusted sites, but this is on-premise and the CRM runs in my domain within the company network.

One thing i forgot, click for call is set to Lync, and we use the latest one, which is Skype for Business. But i guess "Click for Call" is not related to lync presence.

Are you sure they are using IE and not Edge? It will only work in IE and for CRM Online *.dynamics.com must be added to trusted sites.

Not really, but i didn't hear anything about Edge or Win10. And even if we use On-Premise only i told them to add the URL to Local Intranet sites. Still doesn't work for some. I wasn't able to figure out the difference between a working one and a non-working one.

    Fixed. Very very stupid.

I added the site to trusted sites first. But it does not matter where to add, but then i clicked on custom level, then scrolled down to "ActiveX" category, there i ENABLED the third radio option which is disabled by default, labeled "Initiliaze and execute ActiveX objects which are marked as "not safe for scripting"" (translated from german). Once i enabled this option, which means the the ActiveX object being responsible for the Lync Presence, developed by Microsoft is marked as not safe, by Microsoft. What??

    Anyway, now its working!!
