Sharepoint document location

Hi,

I am using CRM 2015 and installed list component to integrate CRM and SharePoint for document management.

Is there an attribute where a document stored in SharePoint is located? I mean the url for a particular document is stored somewhere?

So I can use that attribute in a view to directly open a document by clicking on it for a particular case.

Thank you.

Hi, the sharepoint location is Setting, Document Management, Sharepoint Site Entity.

Here you have your document location. When configure the Sharepoint, you need to check the entity where you want activate. If you open an entity you can find the new menunavigation voice "Document"

    Hi,

thanks alessandro, but I am looking for the actual link to the document. Will this link be stored somewhere in CRM? I want to show the link in a view so that users can directly click on it and the document gets opened.

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

With the list component integration, document links are not stored in Dynamics CRM - only the folders that contain the documents. See my blog on this - develop1.net/.../SharePoint-Integration-Reloaded-Part-1.aspx

    Hope this helps

In Dynamic CRM, there is no OOB feature that stores the SharePoint document location in attribute of entity.

So, if you want this then you need to write a code to store the SharePoint document location in the attribute while integrating or creating documents for particular Entity.

    Thanks,

    Sam

It is stored in Absolute Url field of sharepointdocument entity.
