How to exclude inactive or invalid records from Cloud Migration from GP to BC

(First of all, thank you for seeing this question, and I appreciate your support fully)
 
I am working on migrating Dynamics GP data to Business Central using the Cloud Migration. I have some inactive vendors, or some particular vendors I DO NOT want to migrate to BC. Is there a way to exclude these vendors from the Cloud Migration? 
 
I know there is one option to hard delete the vendor records, but I will need to remove all referencing child records all over the place, which may break the data integrity. So I'm wondering if there is a better option.

    I think you can try to apply filters in the Data Migration Setup phase to control which records are migrated. For vendors, you can set filters such as 'Inactive = false' or filter by specific Vendor IDs. This avoids the need for deleting records and preserves data integrity in GP. 
     
    Make ensure your filter logic doesn't impact required references (historical transactions data). Always validate migrated data post-import and confirm.
