Workflow not working as expected

Hi,

I have a workflow I have created on CRM 2015. This workflow is generally working but if the quote is marked as won, lost or cancelled the workflow must stop with status of succeeded. If this condition is not met then a phone call activity is created as expected and it should then stop with a status of succeeded. Can anybody tell me why it

ignores both of the workflow stop conditions?

Thanks :)

your wait condition is the issue. Your wait condition should be TIme Until after 28 days createdon

Check my wait condition , this workflow will be executed only after 28 days of created on.

    Hello Chitrarasan,

Thanks for popping by. Ignore the 28 days, I have actually set it to be 1 minute whilst testing and I still get the same behaviour.

    A quote is created

Workflow is now triggered and waiting for 1 minute

Before 1 minute has passed I find the quote and cancel it

My workflow should now recognize this has been cancelled and should terminate the workflow but it doesn't.

I have attached an up to date screenshot.

This is how the workflow remains. Neither of the Stop conditions worked.

Rather than using process execution time use record created on date in your condition that may fix this.

Unfortunately not. Very confusing. If I change it to use 'Record created on' the workflow does not do anything at all which is worse!

By the way that is set to 1 minute after despite the drop down now being on 'Before'

I created lot of workflows using wait condition and it works as expected. To add after you need to fierst change from "before" to after then choose the time to wait then select the created on that will add write wait condition

    Hi Chitrarasan,

This is using the 'Stop' condition not the 'Wait' condition. I have got it set to after with the time set but still no luck unfortunately. I am going to create another workflow which will be very basic and put a 'Stop' condition at the end to see if it works.

I have tried another basic workflow with the stop workflow condition at the end and I am getting exactly the same behavior. Are we certain this is not a bug? Please see below:
