SL PSTL Incorrect Syntax near keyword table error

1222.ScreenShot.pngMy client is on SL 2015 and trying to modify a number of sub-accounts using the PSTL utility.  When attempting to make a change they get the following error:  "Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'table'. 

We've run the PSTL utility's create table process a number of times with no luck.  Any thoughts as to what may be happening?  Please advise.  Thank you.

    JG,

    Thank you for posting your issue to the forum. If you check in the SL database, is there a table or stored procedure called or starts with "Table"?

    It is suspected there is a DB object called this and it is not a standard table that SL would recognize. If you find it and rename it, will PSTL run without the error?

    Hello Carolyn,

    I found two old procedures named table_id and table_len and renamed those.  Did not have a procedure, table or view with just the name "table".  

    I also noticed a procedure called "Tablewithnoteid", but that seems to be something that is common to the Solomon install and also appears in the demo60 company.

    Regardless renaming the procs did not address the error.  Any other thoughts?  Let me know.  Thank you!

    My best guess would be that there is an issue with one of the stored procedures that PSTL is trying to run. Based on your description, probably SSP_subacct_change. Last time I tried to get into one of these procedures, however, it was encrypted and not allowing me to  view the contents.

    Another possibility, albeit less so, is that their not using the SL2015 version of the tools.

    Have you tried reinstalling PSTL?

    I just checked.  We are on SL2015 and have the 2015 version of the tool.  I've reinstalled and rebuilt the tables, but are still getting the "Incorrect Syntax near keyword 'table'" error.

    I also tried doing a SQL profiler trace, but nothing is popping out at me and it seems a good bit of the activity is encrypted.

     Any other thoughts?

    Try running SQL Profiler and see if that gives you the faulting statement. If nothing else, it could help Tech Support narrow things down.

    I also wonder if Sync Ownership would fix anything.
