The risk when importing item through Configuration Package for Release Production Order

I have nearly 100 Released Production Order which need to add more components. These Production Orders already consumed some item before.

It is hard work to open each production order to do. So I try to use Configuration Package to add but could someone advise there is any risk or error may happen ? (Ex: later cannot post Output, Finish, close, etc.)

I only use Table 5407 (Prod. Order Component)

Thanks

    Thank so much Amit.

I also test this and hope there will be no error. It will save much time to add item to Released Production Order.

    Hi,

In Standard, there is a feature of adding or removing Items in Production Order Components Page. So you do manually or using configuration package. there is no risk.

For safer side, you can do this activity in Test Database. if it is ok and do the same activity in Production Environment.
