  • Hi,

I want to add the below fields to the case header form beside to the default columns that already we have.

    1. Date that the case was initially assigned [Initially Assigned]

    2. Date that the case was lastly assigned [Lastly Assigned]

    3. Date that the case was resolved [Resolved]

First, do you have those fields created and populated yet?  I don't think initially assigned and last assigned are default fields on a Case.

One you do that, customize the case form (Settings -> Customization -> Customize the system -> Entities -> Case -> the case form you're working on), click on Headers in the top navigation, and add those fields.  the save and publish.  Fair warning, there's a limit to how many of those headers you can add to the form.

In addition to Wayne.. if you add more fields in form header, then sometime formatting / style of header will be massed up.

    Hi Wayne,

I didn't created those fields and i need to create those two fields. Yes those are not default fields on the case.

And i want to know can we able to insert more that 4 columns/fields in the header, i read somewhere that it cannot be possible to add more than 4 fields into the header.

    Hi Mahadeo,

I read somewhere that it cannot be possible to add more than 4 fields into the header.  If there is a possibility and we add do we face any issues in future.

    Thank you.

Ah yes, I had forgotten about the limit.  Here's the documentation on the main form, and it definitely says no more than four fields. There is no way around that.
