Consolidated 2 companies into the consolidated company

Try to run financial reports and still no balance for any accounts

Looking for guidance, please. (yes - it's in a test environment)

Try checking the Chart of Accounts in the consolidated company. If you see balances in the G/L accounts, that means the consolidation was successful, and the issue is likely with the setup of your financial reports. On the other hand, if the accounts are empty, it likely means the consolidation didn’t run correctly, and no data was brought in.

If no balances appear in the Chart of Accounts, the consolidation failed. If balances are there, the issue lies in the financial report configuration.
