Hello Community Members,

I had a doubt with regards to product kit pricing in dynamics D365 Commerce. My doubt is I have recently created one product Kit on UAT and Assigned a Price to it.Currently product kit is taking price from base price and not Trade agreements. Is there a way to assign a price to a product kit through a trade agreement.

Please Advise.

Regards

    RE: Product Kit Pricing

    Hi Ashish,

After you release the product kit to your legal entities, and you have set up the basic product properties for the kit, the next step is to price the kit. Each component of the product kit is assigned a base price, and the sum of the base prices is equal to the base price of the product kit. The base price for each kit component is the price of the product at the time that it was added to the product kit.

If you want to specify a different price for the kit, you can manually change the pricing for a product kit.

Open the kit in the Released kit form and in the action bar, click on the Configure button in the Product kit group.

When the form opens, click on the Specify kit price to open the side bar. Enter the price and click OK.

    RE: Product Kit Pricing

    Hi Charlotte ,

    I appreciate your quick response.

I already did the steps which you mentioned in the Answer. I am repeating the issue I am facing with Scenario .

    Scenario 1:

    Consider 3 products A,B, C.

    Product Kit = Products A +Products B+Products C

Now  Price of Product Kit as per system configuration = Base price of Product A + Base price of Product B+ Base price of Product C.

    Expected Result I need is

Product Kit Price should be = Trade Agreement price of Product A + Trade Agreement price of Product B + Trade Agreement price of Product C.

I hope you understood what I am expecting .

    Regards

    RE: Product Kit Pricing

Thanks for the explanation, I am now able to understand what you mean.

Product Kit Pricing works much like the base price of a product, wherein a sales order line derives the price of the kit from the base price, if there are no Trade Agreements for sale prices defined for the kit.

Have you already defined a trade agreement for the kit?

    Hi Charlotte ,

I haven't defined any trade agreement to the product Kit yet .

    Hi Ashish,

I think you need a trade agreement for sale prices defined for the kit, then you can assign a sale price to a product kit through a trade agreement.
