Hi Community,
May I ask if any of you know if there's a feature that allows navision to keep track of who has been login to Navision during the day in Navision 2018?
I know there is a page called Session, other than Session, is there anything else?
Thank you!
I have not tested it myself, but i think that can be one thing that can cause the behavior you see. So i think you should do some test to see if the way you close down NAV can influence the time register recordings.

Hi Igner,
Not sure if I read your post correct.
"And you are sure that they actually close down their NAV client ?"
Do you mean to say that NAV client has to be close properly before the Time Register will register their login and out timing?
That means if they force shut down their PC, or that they shut down their PC without closing NAV first, it will not be capture? If its so then maybe it make sense.
And you are sure that they actually close down their NAV client ?
If you are using terminal services it might be the case that they just disconnect from the TS and leave NAV open?
Hi,
You can write the simple code to insert the login details in a custom table to store the login and logout details with the help of codeunit 40 LogIn Management's function "LognStart" & "LoginEnd"
Check the Table User Time Register as well please. I had been through this and this table use to help me out!!
Hi Zhu,
Thanks for your advise. I have set up Time Registeration, however, I find that some of my users tend to have opening hours, but not closing hours, or I can see that physically they are using, but Navision is not capturing them in the Time Register.
Any idea why is this so?

Hi, as Inge said, you can enable Register Time feature in User Setup.
Add another information: Sorry I haven't tested it. Can you check the data in the User Login table?
Hope this will help.
Thanks.
ZHU
You can activate time registration in the user setup:
docs.microsoft.com/.../user-security
The result will show in the time registers page.
