Dynamics CRM online subscription upgrade, will I lose customization and data?

Hi All,

I am going to upgrade Dynamics CRM online to Dynamics CRM 365 enterprise plan1, to use field services. I already have good level of customization in online CRM. Will I lose my customization and data after up-gradation of subscription?

If Yes, how do I need to backup those?

Please help.

Hi,

You can always export all your customizations using unmanaged solution. But the customizations should be preserved, you should not loose them.

Hi Sandeep,

You will get all of your customization as it is, but still you can request Microsoft for full backup of your current CRM DB, to ensure you have your backup of your data, and keep complete backup of your solutions.
