Hi everyone,

I am working on CRM 2016 on-premise, and I want to hide the sales area from a specific user and show a custom area for another user.
could anyone provide me with steps to show and hide sitemap areas based on security roles?

Regards

Yasmeen Zada

    Hi Yasemeen

When you provide rights in the sitemap editor as mentioned in the blog- you must be providing only read rights. Can you also provide both read and write rights and then try.

Only read writes were provided Prashant.

Either nothing happens, or an error is generated !

    Prashant,

worked very well, until I reached to adding privileges to the settings area. The error appeared one more time in the CRM system.
