Transfer order released: shipment is created, but no work has been created.

Hi,

I encounter an issue. I have created a transfer order with one line. This is a product I have in stock. When I run the batch release transfer order to warehouse no work is created. But when I check the shipments I see D365 has created an shipment for this transfer order. What could be the cause no work has been created?

I have a separate transfer order wave template.

    Hi

    What happens if you do 'Release to warehouse' manually, from the Transfer order form? Do you get any interesting error messages?

    Sorry for late answer. But the release to warehouse option manually does not work in our setup. Too use this the stock has to be marked. I have to do this using the batch.

    Yes, I understand that, but I just wanted to test what happens. Hopefully, you will get a message that will reveal where the problem might sit. Can you reserve stock to the line manually, and do the release from the order... as a test to see what happens?!

    I get a message stating zero shipments are created.

    There are some suggestions on this thread as to what can cause that message, including stock not reserved, location defined on the order line, bug in DIXF when importing products....
