I am looking to send an email that will attach a dynamic report depending on the "Case" I have open.

I am a novice at using CRM for my customer service department.  I am looking for a step I can setup in CRM from a customer "Case" that will send an email with Dynamic criteria pertaining only to the case, including a dynamic report as an attachment.  I created a process that works great except for the attachment.  I was reading and maybe a "process" might not be what I want, maybe a "routing rule" or "Activity" would achieve this?  During the Case ( before this process) the same report is created and saved on SharePoint.  I would even accept a prompt and response asking for the file to be attached( I have tried this, but did not see a response that would do this).  Below is the Send email process I mentioned above.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    What kind of dynamic report are you trying to attach?

    If it is excel for example, you can create a workflow to trigger when the case is created.

    In the workflow you can add a step to send email and attach the file. So whenever the workflow is run, the email and filed will be sent.

    Thank you for your answer.  The workflow side automates the process I have already setup that sends an email, but the attachment needed is different on a case by case basis.  So setting up a default attachment will not work.  Am I missing a place for it to run a report and attach this in the email?

    Ok, I see now.

    As native workflow cannot access attachments from an entity, you can develop a custom workflow.

    You can add the report in the entity notes and follow the procedure described on the link below:
