What are my available options for changing the name of the solution publisher prefix?
I have multiple custom entities and fields that need their prefix changed.

Hi I want to change the prefix of my existing entities and attributes in ms crm 2015 online. Can you please tell me the way to do that.
Secondly, is it possible to change it in easy way while importing solution to new environment.
Hi VVG,
You can't change the names of entities and attributes anyway (unless you delete & re-create them), or you dig in to the CRM database, with the risk of making it non-functional (as it would be considered as unsupported customizations)
However, you can update the Prefix and it would be applicable for all customizations done after the update.

Thanks Chitra, thankfully I had no data in my systems so I just modified my customizations and solution XML files with the new prefix, zipped them and imported into the same environment.
if you dont have any data in your system with all the entities for those you want to change prefix , one option would be export all the customizations and you could replace the prefix with new value in the customization.xml file .
You have to delete the all the existing field from the system before importing the modified customizations.
