Error When Importing a Solution 80071153

I'm trying to import my default solution into a new install on a new instance.

I can export the solution fine with no errors, but when I import the following error message appears.

The file provided was not uploaded. Click the back button, select the solution file, and try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

Client Solutions
Exception 80071153
Server Version 9.1.0.638
oid 6783ceb3-1d44-4b4f-9d5b-60318f713f96
Deployment Environment online

There's no detail as to the reason for the failure, other than the error code, which is not described on the MS published documentation.

I hope someone can help as this is very frustrating.

    Hi Jim,

Once the solution is imported, you will have an option to download log file, you can try to open it in excel and you should be able to find the steps which were processed and not processed. Can you check re-importing the solution again and see if you were still getting same message.

You can also download the solution history tool from XRM Toolbox for reviewing these details.

    Thank you.

    Regards,

Thanks everyone for the advice, I'm making some progress now, but the file I wish to import at 12mb times out on the Toolbox Plug In.

I get a 2 minute time out error code

The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:01:59.9528083. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

I don't know where I would go to increase the timeout value.  Any help would be appreaciated

0x80071153 means DuplicateComponentInSolutionXml - i.e. in your imported solutions there is a clash between two form ids, app ids or other components.

If you're on-prem/have access to on-prem instance you can enable tracing like support.microsoft.com/.../how-to-enable-tracing-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm and infer the duplicate component by error in the logs.
