ReportReport

I am converting reports from NAV 2009 version to Business Central 17 SAAS version via conversion tool

Below is the error rendered

----ERROR----
Error extracting application object from file: C:\Users\username\Documents\AL\Report OB\Report OB.txt
Message: DATAITEMS is not supported in this version.
Line content: { PROPERTIES
Line number: 17
Line position: 5

Any suggestion how can I convert them or I need to make such reports manually in AL?

It depends on the reports, but my suggestion would be to start over, since in NAV 2013 some changes were made in the data model regarding dimensions, so most document reports will not convert.

Anyway, you will first need to convert your NAV2009 reports to NAV2018 and then use the exportto-new-txt-format and txt2al.

Once you have reports in NAV2018 (or a version that supports txt2al) the hard part is already over, getting them converted from NAV2009 to NAV2018 is the difficult part  ;-)

My recommendation is to start over, or have a look if these tools can help:
