Sitemap area is not visible to a user

Hi,

One of our user is not able to see an area on sitemap ,and the same area is visible to all the other users. I have checked the privelege of entities of that area on sitemap editor.There is no privelege set. What may be the probable reason of it

    Hi Purnima ,

    There might be some role is overwriting for this user. So you assign different security role which is working  for others user.

    Open the user and compare the user business unit with other user , and also check whether the user is assigned to any team.

    Can you please check whether the user has the privilege to read at least one entity in subareas under this area?

    I tried to open that user account from my laptop too but still I am unable to see that area

    Hi,

    What if the affected user login using your laptop?

    if with above method, the site map is available, try to clear the cache.

    You also can try to provide higher privilege.

    I checked in options ->language->only english language is there

    Right, but every user can define their own display language from installed languages.

    From the top right click on the "cog wheel" to enter personal settings. Under "languages" tab check the setting for "User Interface Language". If you cannot change it, then there is only one language installed and that is probably not the cause. On the other hand, if you can select from a number of languages, you need to know what the one user in particular has selected.

    Check the user's selected language. If the sitemap area's label has no title for the user's language, the entire area will disappear.
