Windows minimize automatically in GP v.10

When we upgraded to version 10, we lost the ability to keep multiple windows open simultaneously, and it slows down my A/P specialists.  Does anyone know if this is a preference we can set somewhere, or is it something we are stuck with?  Tech support did not have an answer for me.

    Which window(s) are you referring to specifically? GP 10 definitely can have multiple windows open.
