Is there a REST API for word template?

Experts,

I have a question, upload a word template for Account entity, and I can open the template from account record easily with all information populated.

Is there a REST API call that I can use to invoke say load word template "ABC" for Account 123? Which can return a HTML represent the word document?

Is that possible through a RESTful call?
