Dear members,

Can we create a contract for the projects in BC project management?I'm aware of the service contracts available in BC for premium license users. Is there any functionaly available in standard for creating contracts for Essential license users? Please help me with this.

Thanks in advance,
Sneha

As far as I know this cannot be done, Project can be associated with Sales and Purchase, but cannot be associated with Service.
But you can try third-party extensions

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

In this new version we have a new module related to some types of contracts, if that is what you are referring to, I am not sure.

Projects (or old name Jobs) is the closest thing.

It can have starting/ending date, and the planned tasks, but this is mostly for the Sales contracts.
You can add tasks and agreed budget/costs/sales price/quantities for each task, and your users can register the work done and then You can generate a Sales Invoice.

In case the contract is for some services where the monthly cost is the same, You can check Recurring Sales Lines. Create a Recurring Sales card for this service, then on the Customer card open the Recurring lines, provide the start/end date. Then each month You can run process Create Recurring Sales Invoices - and system will generate Sales Invoices for all customers where such lines are active.
