Hi,

I'm trying to set up 1 of my resources with finite capacity

I have a resource group with calender with 8 working hours a day, set to finite capacity

I have a resource with calendar with 8 working hours a day, set to finite capacity

Master plan is set to finite capacity as well.

I have an item with route setup up with queue time before, setup time, run time and transit time.

When i do job scheduling, without canceling anything i get the following result

How come the process (runtime) is not scheduled?

Times are setup as below

I have no clue what I'm missing, have been reading all kinds of articles for hours, any suggestions?

I have the same question (0)

What about your route group setup?

Did you select "process time" so that I can be included in the scheduling calculation?

    Hi Dogan,

Thanks, The boxes were indeed unchecked for Process.

So i now checked them for Activation, Job mgt, Working time and Capacity.

However, when i job schedule, there was still no process shown.

Now, I ran Operations scheduling first and then again Job scheduling, now it worked. Super.!

Immediately I have a few other questions.

In my GANT chart, the Transport and Queue before is still shown, since i cancelled them there is no throughput. Can this be hidden?

I would like to sort the production orders based on start, now it is sorted on Reference number, is this possible?

Yes you can hide unwanted activities by following the steps below:

It's always sorted by the reference number by design. You cannot change it.

You can play with Grouping levels if you open the form in order view.
